Ships Mon-Tue; Wed requires Priority Overnight. I’ll contact you within 24 hours to coordinate. Orders generally ship the following week unless arranged otherwise. WEATHER I check origin, overnight hub and destination forecasts. Shipping is delayed below 40°F, above 90°F or for unsafe route conditions, then rescheduled when safe. Below 45°F or above 85°F, approved FedEx hold-for-pickup is required for LAG. LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE LAG requires all shipping and arrival conditions: • Home delivery: accept the first delivery attempt. • Hold-for-pickup: collect within 4 hours of FedEx marking the package available. • DOA: report within the same 4-hour window with clear photos and video showing the animal and condition. • Keep the animal and all packaging until we’ve spoken. • Bonus cultures and overcounts are excluded. • Carrier delays do not automatically void LAG if other requirements are met. THE 4-HOUR WINDOW For home delivery, the window starts upon delivery. For hold-for-pickup, it starts when FedEx marks the package available, NOT when collected. Pickup, inspection, acclimation and DOA reporting must all occur within this single 4-hour window. Example: Available at 9 AM, collected at 11 AM. Both pickup and DOA reporting deadlines are 1 PM. AFTER ARRIVAL Open promptly, acclimate gradually and avoid extreme temperature changes. Isopods and springtails may hide in moss, substrate, leaves or packing. Inspect all materials before reporting missing animals. DRY GOODS & SLIME MOLD Dry goods generally ship within 2 business days, separately from live orders, with a separate shipping charge. Live slime mold follows LAG; sclerotia ships as dry goods. Review and ask questions BEFORE arranging shipment. RESTRICTIONS Podlandia does not ship to Florida, Hawaii, or Alaska.
