It is the rarest and arguably the flashiest of the Psalmopoeus trio, a warpainted climber built for a deep, corked vertical home. Ships as a tiny sling and sizes up into that dark den. Like all Psalmopoeus it is a New World spider with no urticating hairs, but do not relax: it is fast, it is flighty, and it will defend itself with a stronger-than-typical bite if cornered.
