Amazon Sapphire Pink-Toe Tarantula (Ybyrapora diversipes) - 0.5-0.75" (Sling)

A dwarf Brazilian pinktoe that turns blue-green in the right light. Ybyrapora diversipes is one of the small Brazilian arboreals split out of Avicularia, and it is the one keepers chase for colour: a metallic blue-green wash over the carapace and legs with the pinktoe family's pale toe tips still intact. It stays small enough that a modest vertical enclosure is a permanent home rather than a stepping stone. These arrived at 0.5 to 0.75 inches. Spice Level 3: Intermediate. Not defensive, but fast, delicate, and completely dependent on airflow, so heavy cross ventilation matters more here than with most arboreals. Handling is not recommended.
