What you are buying is the form, honestly labelled. These arrived at 0.5 inch. It is deep fossorial, so build it that way. Substrate deep enough to hold a tunnel shape, more than one stable cover object to start the excavation under, a damp lower layer beneath a drier surface, real cross ventilation, and an open water dish. At half an inch a Baby Buddy fits it; it graduates into a deep burrow build as it grows.
