The OBT in its dark colour form, webbing like the lights are about to go out. Pterinochilus murinus is the East African baboon the hobby calls the OBT, and the DCF 'Kigoma' line is the darker, smokier colour form rather than the blaze-orange Usambara most keepers picture first. Big Z's lists the two separately because keepers tell them apart and ask for them by name. These came in at 1 to 1.25 inches and are already laying down silk. Spice Level 4: Advanced. Fast, defensive, quick to stand up and stay standing, and a strict no-handling animal for keepers who already have Old World experience. Give it dry substrate deep enough to burrow plus vertical cork it can anchor to, because it webs heavily and goes semi-arboreal, and open the enclosure with a plan every single time. Read the matched Big Z's care guide before it ships.
