A desert survivor built for famine, now flushed rosy red Grammostola rosea RCF, the Chilean Rose Hair 'Red,' is the original gateway tarantula in a warmer coat. RCF stands for Red Color Form, the morph that dials the usual dusty rose-and-grey up into a genuine rosy-red flush across the carapace and leg hair. It hails from the Atacama fringe, one of the driest places on Earth, and grows slow and steady from this 3/4 to 1.25 inch spiderling into a roughly eight-inch adult. Arid, unhurried, and quietly bulletproof.
